Eboni Morgan is an author, captivating speaker, award-winning community architect, & wellness facilitator.

With a robust background in education, Eboni honed her skills as a speaker, facilitator, and mentor during her time at Toronto Metropolitan University and the University of Toronto, where she served in pivotal roles supporting Black and underserved individuals on their paths to academic and personal success. Her impactful work earned her the prestigious Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Alan Shepard Award, recognizing her unwavering dedication to uplifting Black youth across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Eboni’s influence extends beyond academic institutions. She regularly engages with youth groups across the GTA, delivering tailored workshops and discussions that empower young people to navigate their journeys with confidence and purpose. Her work with youth is deeply rooted in fostering self-awareness, resilience, and collective growth.

As a published author, Eboni’s debut book, A Year of Black Girl Magic, celebrates Black womanhood, resilience, and the beauty of self-discovery. The book has ignited a wave of deep self-love among its readers, fostering a community rooted in authenticity, sisterhood, and the celebration of innate power. Eboni’s book talks bring these themes to life, offering audiences an opportunity to connect with her insights and explore the transformative power of storytelling.

Eboni’s commitment to fostering community and mental wellness extends further through her work as the founder of The Black Girl Magic Collective, a movement dedicated to supporting Black women and girls in reclaiming their wellness, rewriting their narratives, and thriving. Inspired by her book, the Collective has received national recognition and been the recipient of numerous grants including the 2024 SheaMoisture Dream Fund Grant and the American Express (AMEX) 2025 Backing Small Businesses Grant.

Eboni’s accolades include the Canadian Black Standards’ Rising Star Award in 2022 and the 2023 Alan Shepard EDI Awards — a testament to her leadership, advocacy, and contributions to the Black community. She is also a TEDx speaker and a sought-after keynote speaker and workshop facilitator, known for her genuine approach and powerful storytelling.

In addition to her work as a speaker and advocate, Eboni is a certified yoga instructor and meditation teacher, specializing in creating wellness spaces tailored to the Black community. With her boundless passion for uplifting others and creating lasting change, Eboni continues to inspire individuals from all walks of life, leaving an indelible mark through her words, actions, and unwavering advocacy for mental wellness in the Black community.

Eboni Morgan

Eboni Morgan is an author, captivating speaker, award-winning community architect, and yoga & meditation teacher. Renowned for her work in public speaking and community building, Eboni’s work is driven by her passion for empowering her community and fostering meaningful connections. Following her first book A Year of Black Girl Magic, Eboni founded the Black Girl Magic Collective Inc. to continue encouraging young Black girls and women, the importance of owning their innate magic IRL. She continues to spread the word of self-love through her creation of community spaces, mentorship, yoga & meditation offerings and sisterhood both online and offline.
